Feet!!

I bought new sewing feet today!! A binder foot, walking foot, 1/4" foot, free quilting/darning foot and also the "pack" came with a crafter foot... Yeah!!

Also, sewing together my impromptu disappearing nine patch... not sure if I like it but Miss Em does...!! Maybe I can get it done for One Project a Month!! Maybe... :0)

I am hoping to catch the Inauguration Tuesday! I have a 4th grade class (actually I think it is the entire 4th grade squeezing intot the room next door) watching the process!! I think I will be viewing it via the computer and sharing it with whatever class is my room at the time... No matter what the age this is a historic moment!

Disappearing nine patches....

Since I left early Thursday to get Miss Em from school (she was sick) then I left early Friday (caught whatever Em had!) and With the 6 inches of snow that fell Sat into Sun. We did nothing all weekend!! It was great!! we watched movies and sewed. I decided to work on a disappearing nine patch quilt very impromptu...

Of course I changed the layout and added a few more blocks. 

Then today came this package!! Weighing about 8.5 pounds! 

i had forgotten about the approx. 15 yards of scraps I had won from Some art fabric!! More pictures to come!!

Looking at the quilt....

So I put up a design wall (an old table cloth my Nana had).... This is the start of the Sponge Bob Quilt....
