Miss Em is sewing!!

I got Miss Em sewing!! Yeah!! She is sewing on my machine with me helping to guide... I had picked her up a "kid's machine" at the Goodwill but it is a piece of plastic crap... She found a Bratz panel we had bought a while ago... She sewed a pillow!! She is in charge of stuffing it right now and then we will sew it together.... Pictures soon!!

I finished it!! YEAH!! I have been secretly working on a quilt for my Nana. Nana is 92 and lives by herself in Maine.... Not far from me. My mom passed away in 2000 and was a major crafter. Well, she made my Nana (her mom) a pillow in the 80's with all the grand kids names in hearts. It was falling apart but Nana of course wanted to fix it or do something with it... She gave it to me one day and asked if there was anything I could do with it? So I cut out all the hearts and made a quilt!! Just finished it!! YEAH!!!

What do you do for three days without power??
